Scholar Bowl

6th-8th Grade

ILS students put their noggin' to the test at our Academic Bowl competitions. Students compete in teams to answer questions about math, science, social studies, religion, sports, literature, movies, and other subjects.

Basketball

3rd-8th Grade

In addition to our regular physical education program, ILS offers extra-curricular competitive Basketball programs for girls and boys after school. The purpose of this program is to teach and exemplify the basic human and Christian values of sportsmanship, cooperation, and teamwork. The goal is to help foster friendships, provide leadership opportunities, and help the students develop a positive attitude toward sports and athletic competition.

Cheerleading

K-8th Grade

Cross Country

K-8th Grade

Students of all ages can join Cross Country. Whether you are new to running or have years of experience, Cross Country will help you get in shape, build endurance, and have some fun!

Soccer

5th-8th Grade

ILS boys have the opportunity to participate in our soccer program. On this team, students learn the basic skills and rules, as well as Christian teamwork and sportsmanship.

Music

K-8th Grade

“Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs” (Psalm 100:2). ILS offers various choral and band options for our students from Pre-K through 8th grade. With Heavenly Singers, Concert Choir, Bells, Beginning Band, and Concert Band, students love worshiping the Lord and singing His praise. These groups often perform at Immanuel concerts and worship services.

Robotics

5th-8th Grade

This team teaches valuable skills in science and technology and stimulates critical thinking. Using simple machines, computer programing, and Legos (R), the robotics team builds devices that help solve real-world problems.

Track & Field

4th-8th Grade

If you like to sprint straightaways, leap hurdles, or launch a shot put, come join us on the track and field team! “And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Volleyball

Bump, set, spike! On the court, our ILS ladies work hard at playing the game and demonstrating Christian sportsmanship.
